Make a Website - Coding - 3 week workshop at Work Station Cohasset

In this class, students will make a one page website.

Students will pick a topic or theme (e.g. favorite food, sport, animal) and build a webpage from scratch with HTML coding. Over the three weeks, we will build on that page, add in more features and design to make it a great website.

Topics covered in this workshop include:

• Page layout

• Font styles and sizes

• Color codes for fonts and backgrounds

• Sourcing free images on the internet

• Sizing the images with % or pixel size

• Keep the code and publish your page!
